End User License Agreement

This End User License Agreement ("Agreement") is a legal agreement between you ("User") and Deep Tweak Audio ("Developer") regarding the use of Virtual Spatial Studio (VSS).

By installing, copying, or using Virtual Spatial Studio (VSS), you agree to be bound by the terms of this Agreement.

1. Software License

Deep Tweak Audio grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use Virtual Spatial Studio (VSS).

You may:

Use VSS for personal or commercial audio production;
Use VSS for mixing, mastering, sound design, and related workflows;
Use audio processed with VSS in personal or commercial productions;
Install the software according to your purchased license.

You may not:

Sell, rent, sublicense, or redistribute the software;
Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the software;
Modify or redistribute software components;
Circumvent licensing mechanisms.

2. Ownership

All intellectual property rights related to Virtual Spatial Studio (VSS), including software source code, DSP algorithms, user interface design, visual assets, and trademarks, remain the exclusive property of Deep Tweak Audio. Purchasing the software grants usage rights only and does not transfer ownership.

3. SOFA and HRTF Data

VSS allows users to load third-party SOFA/HRTF files. Users are responsible for ensuring that imported data is legally obtained and properly licensed. Deep Tweak Audio is not responsible for third-party content supplied by users.

4. Updates

Deep Tweak Audio may provide updates including bug fixes, performance improvements, new features, and compatibility improvements. The availability and scope of updates are determined by the Developer.

5. Disclaimer

Virtual Spatial Studio is designed as a spatial monitoring and audio production tool. Due to differences in individual hearing characteristics, HRTF measurements, hardware systems, and listening environments, simulation results may vary from real-world acoustic environments. VSS does not guarantee replacement of a physical professional monitoring room.

6. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Deep Tweak Audio shall not be liable for data loss, project corruption, business interruption, or indirect damages. Users are responsible for maintaining backups of their projects.

7. Termination

If the User violates this Agreement, Deep Tweak Audio may terminate the software license. Upon termination, the User must discontinue use and remove all copies of the software.
